Air China Cargo becomes ULD PARTNER’s Launch Customer for ULD Fleet Management Services
ULD fleet management is a natural progression for our business that through the substantial repair shops in Hong Kong and PRC which have repaired in excess of 800,000 ULD since operations commenced in Hong Kong in 1998 and in PRC since 2004, in addition to providing extensive ULD rental services for many years.
With the strong backing of majority shareholder Dah Chong Hong Holdings Limited whose extensive presence in PRC and extensive motor vehicle leasing activities provides additional support, the Chinese and Asian carriers looking to outsource their ULD management can now draw upon the services of a long established and competent supplier located in the heart of their region.
The Group made an important decision to enter into ULD fleet management service industry, and created the brand ULD PARTNER in 2012. The vision is to improve the operational efficiency and increase the safety awareness in ULD handling with financial benefits for airlines. Today, we are pleased to announce ULD PARTNER has signed an agreement with Air China Cargo for the provision of ULD Fleet Management Services, which include the supply, repair & maintenance, track & trace and the control of 13,000 units of ULD for both Air China and Air China Cargo, covering more than 80 airports around the globe with effect from 1 December 2016.
The Vice President of Service & Operations, Air China Cargo, Mr. Ray Lo, said, “We are very pleased to have reached the agreement with ULD PARTNER.
